Luxembourg is one of the smallest European countries, bordered by France, Germany and Belgium. Its capital is Luxembourg. Luxembourg's landscape is mostly grassy hills, and dense vegetation lines the countrysides.The temperature is mostly moderate, and the average temperature is 10 degrees Celsius. Luxembourg receives about 1,200 mm or rain each year. The largest river in Luxembourg is the Moselle, which eventually flows into the Rhine river in Germany.

A Grand Duchy is where the government is a constitutional monarchy, but instead of a king or queen as a figurehead, the figurehead is a duke or duchess. The current duke is Grand Duke Henry, and the current prime minister is Jean-Claude Juncker.
